Did you know???      -  Rate Caps for PECO and PPL expire December 31, 2009      -  Rate Caps for Met-Ed expire December 31, 2010      -  Pennsylvania Act 129 goes into effect 2009              - Pennsylvania Act 129 was adopted and requires Electric Companies to reduce                energy usage, according to the following timeline:                               - 1% by May 31st, 2011                               - 3% by May 31st 2013                               - 4.5% in peak demand by May 31st, 2013              - If the Utilities do not comply, they will be fined millions of dollars.              - In order to accomplish these goals, utilities must submit a plan to the PUC. Rebates will be given for Residential, Commercial and Industrial customers to change/upgrade to more energy efficient equipment.
